Silvered bronze. Just over 1” in width. Near flat section of the exaggerated form with the cusp curved and nubbed quarter points. The cusp formed from two curvilinear trefoils. Made by the open-face mold technique. The heart stood for bravery, fortitude, loyalty, and integrity, all attributes of the Viking warrior. It is abundantly referenced in Viking literature. Professionally refurbished with the silver surface restored on an 18” gilt sterling silver neck chain for modern wear. Jewelry gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
