Namban style, for katana. Oval, just over 3” height with crenulated edge and raised border. Single riobitsu. Thick plate pierced with dragons chasing the sacred jewel. Well executed with considerable undercutting for which these are valued. The area around the blade opening (seppa dai) with a raised border and textured field.
