Meiji Period, before 1912. 4 /4” diameter with the delicately formed body. The bowl deeply dished on raised foot. The cover shallower, repeating the profile. Dark green outer with turtle and a fisherman in true gold. Turtles represented a long life and a gift of such a bowl would convey that wish to the recipient. Small flakes to the foot of the bowl.
