Dished pommel with faceted terminal. 27 1/2” curved s.e. blade with medial fuller, chiseled with a seal flanked by pseudo-inscription panels. Additional chiseled sun motif each side. Hilt and blade with uniform mottled gray patina. The blade with some lamination flaws and isolated pitting near the point. Classic example of the fully developed form which was used with a slashing motion upon contact, inflicting massive disabling cuts.
