Early example, 17th-18th century in superior preservation as these are generally well worn from repeated very aggressive polishing. 17 1/8” length, the hilt of long rectangular section side guards with two swelled medial bars forming the hand grip. 8 1/8” blade with thick diamond section armor piercing point. The forte depressed with two raised tapered segments. Surface with scattered light and some medium pitting.
