used in the Philippine Insurrection of 1899-1902 and from the collection of General Harry Bandholtz which won first prize at the 1905 Saint Louis Exposition. 49 ¾” length with tapered wood haft with woven split cane socket wrap. Leaf shaped medially ridged head with dimpled base. Head crisp with original rool finish. Haft with good patina.
