Pattern used through WWII and current today. Gilt hilt with pierced foliate guard, canted pommel with the arms of Greece and wire bound black horn grip. 33” straight broad fullered blade decorated first half with foliage, arms of Greece, and military trophies. The ricasso marked W K & C with the marks of Wyersberg Kirschbaum & Company (Solingen). Plated scabbard with two suspension rings. Unissued condition with the gold on the hilt perfectly preserved.
