28 ¼” d.e. blade decorated ¾ its length with knights, military, and crusades motifs. Superficial oxidation beyond the decoration. Owner’s name and C C Ward retailer’s logo. Pleated hilt with white composition grip. Pleated scabbard with enameled crown and crosses. The original owner was born in 1876.  Assuming a career blossoming at 25-40 years of age, the sword probably dates 1900-15. The best example we’ve had in some time.
