37 7/8 length, natural cane (malacca) shaft with rubber tip mount. Made from a single piece of cane with the root cluster forming the grip and precisely cut on a joint to sheath the 19 ½” square section tapering blade. The forte with maker’s mark and ACIER BEDEL name. A little cleaned oxidation at the forte, otherwise excellent. The shaft with good dark patina and well fitting. Hairline crack to the throat. These are usually encountered with substantial degradation due to shrinkage and cracking to the cane. Superior example for condition.
