850-1050 AD. Gilt bronze, a little over size 7 3/4. Broad, 4.9mm band with recessed edges flanking the broad lattice work medial. Excellent preservation with the 24karat gold surface restored for modern wear. Jewelry gift boxed with certificate of authenticity. Vikings exchanged rings on the pommel of the groom’s sword.
