Second half of the 19th century. Characteristic form with delicately shaped wood haft of butterscotch coloration with raised disk butt. The terminal with scorched oval decoration each side. Black forged field chiseled with zigzag bands and forge pierced with six circles. Original black hand forged finish intact throughout. 14 1/8" length. Dating to the period of intense predation for the South American slave market.
