Gilt bronze, size 1 ¼ for the small finger as was the custom. Rounded face band , 2.5mm width. Expanded edge bezel with the center of pyramid form superficially imitating a gemstone. The center with a nub, probably an anatomical reference, and blatantly advertising the intentions of the wearer. Roman prostitutes were typically adolescents, largely slaves. Prostitution was practiced openly with brothels sometimes sharing doors with libraries. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored. Gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
