11th-12th century. Of early style, with cross beam above center and the beam tips crossed in the Jerusalem Cross fashion used through the Crusades. The tips are further embellished diamond motifs. The borders extending as “crutches” at the beam terminals describing five crosses in one, known as the Crusader's cross, having been an element in the arms of Godfrey of Bouillon which he wore during the First Crusade. He was made the first King of Jerusalem. For that reason, it is also known as the Jerusalem Cross. Over 1 5/8” height including the suspension loop. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold overlay restored, on a modern gilt Sterling silver neck chain and jewelry gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity
