9 1/2” Curved, medially swelled blade of parang nabur form, tool finished with light gray patina. The hilt finely carved oval section waisted grip and lovely figural terminal as a flowing hair female with delicate features. While such portraits are common on the longer swords, this example is particularly sensitively rendered and appears to represent a Caucasian woman. Hilt and matching scabbard of matched fine coffee colored wood. Exceptional.
