10 1/2” length plus the stopper. Natural horn with conical tapered spout sized to fit the small long rifle bore. High domed base secured with iron pins, with bronze suspension stud originally securing a strap. The horn slightly shrunk to embrace the wood. Wonderful age character. Used in this size to carry both the finer grain priming powder or primary powder when relatively few charges were anticipated. Great Revolutionary War character.
