Just under 7/8” (0.87”) total height, of iconic cusped top heart form. Broad rounded edge, the field as a pentafoil, variant of the trefoil, a favorite Viking form. That configuration is quite rare. The heart stood for bravery, fortitude, loyalty, integrity, all attributes of the Viking warrior. It is abundantly referenced in Viking literature. Exceptional preservation and detail. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold overlay restored on an 18” gilt silver neck chain for contemporary wear. Gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
