Bronze, originally gilt and enameled. 11 3/4" length with Raised rectangular back delicately recessed with zig zag lines flanked by broad raised borders and enamel (glass) inlaid between. Remnants now intact. Elegant demi baluster terminal. As found and crisp with good patina. Superior quality. The original Garment pin was patented two millennia later as the "safety pin". Gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
