C.1750-1800. Well modeled black horn hilt. Wood scabbard with marching black horn cord eye. 8" blade of high relief pattern welded steel with repeated whorl pamir. Unique form made for fighting with thickened leaf shaped point, recurved edge and depressed flattened back to rest the thumb for better control and increased power. Blade with crisp pattern. A little wear to the high points on the grip. Scabbard dry with surface aging. Only example of this form we have seen.
