The period of the Hundred Years War. 3 3/8” length with butted seam conical socket. Leaf-shaped point with a distinctive rounded base. See Celtic Warriors, Newmark, p.90 bottom left for a near-identical example in the National Museum of Wales, Cardiff. Excellent excavated condition with some erosion to the socket seam. The period includes the reign of Richard I, (1189-99) and the tales of Robin Hood.
