Varying from the norm in virtually every detail. 25 3/4" length. The blade though approximately spatulate, of asymmetrical form with distinct hook to the tip and inside edge straighter than the outside. Fine stipple bordered medial and blade thickness near double other examples. Stitched leather covered grip of narrower form and made without decoration. Finely made pommel with conical tip and acutely angled body with flared foot. That element alone demonstrating forging skills rarely conceded to Congolese artisans. Has seen use with a little wear and fine patina.
