The oval guard wit matching circles alternating with oval studded segments. Quillon block-matching and the grip of faceted panels with silver wire edges. One circle from the pommel and a few small wire segments lacking. The studs appear to be complete without losses The iron with original black finish. 31 7/8” triangular section blade in its cloth blade seat. Fine fighting form. Exceptionally intricate and complete. Northern European, French, Dutch or Flemish dating the turbulent French Revolutionary and Napoleonic Wars period.
