See Arms and Armor of the Crusading Era, Nicolle fig.89 for a comparable example identified as Mediterranean. 4 ½” (4.55”) length, finely forged with slightly swept barbs forming a medial ridge extending as a twisted bolster to the butted seam socket. Delicately made and well preserved with tiny edge imperfections only. Fine stable surface.
