Late gothic period evolving to the iconic heavy armor piercing bolts of the late 16th century. This example designed to pierce the lighter armor of the Late Gothic period. 2 3/8” length with leaf shaped pyramidal section point on forged seam conical socket. Crisp with fine patina and light raised surface oxidation. Condition consistent with arsenal storage and not excavated. Best of its type we have seen.
