4 1/8" length. Heavy example with an elongated pyramidal point on open seam conical socket. Shot from a heavy crossbow or arbalest and probably made for siege warfare. Variant form evolved along with full plate armor and used until firearms replaced the crossbow and capable of piercing the thinner plates of armor. Excavated and professionally conserved.
