The period of the English Civil Wars and execution of Charles I. Gilt bronze, size 5 ¾. 3.1mm rounded face band flaring to the shoulders which are hand-engraved in foliate motifs. Scalloped edge bezel engraved with an armorial device now obscured by wear. The owner was thus of the noble class and likely supported the Crown. Demonstration of your loyalties could be beneficial or detrimental depending on the situation. Professionally refurbished with a 24karat gold overlay for contemporary wear. Gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
