Gilt bronze, about ¾ (0.71”) in height shaped as a leaf evidently of the hawthorn tree. That image appears in the arms of Hawthorne, Thornton and other variants of the name. This would have been worn by a lady of noble birth, taken from her family arms. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored. On an 18” gilt silver neck chain for modern wear. Gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
