Dr. Wall period, C.1770-83. 2 ¾” and 4 1/8” diameter. The small size reminds that tea was very expensive and kept under lock and key. Blue on white decorated with the three flower pattern which depicts a butterfly above foliage and flower buds. Each with the crescent maker’s mark underglaze. Both bright perfect condition but for a 1/8” flake to the saucer rim. The very heart of Dr. Wall porcelain and the beginning of the English export industry.
