Bronze, 7/8" total height. Sphere tipped arms of equal length with a rounded square center with a saltire, each side. Suspension loop intact. The saltire, like a Roman X, (also known as a St. Andrew's cross) was used on the coinage of the Christian Emperors of Rome and symbolized the authority of the Christian church in the 9th and 10th centuries. Excellent with surface encrustation from burial. Gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity.
