$575.00

Late 19th  century. 30" blade decorated 2/3 its length with Masonic motifs, Knights in armor, trophies of arms, Crusades battle scene, and owner’s name, all on faded gold ground. The base with maker’s name THE PETTIBONE BROS MFG CO CINCINNATI O. Silvered hilt gilt pommel. Ivory grip with cross and monogram. Silvered mounts to the brass scabbard. The top mount with red enamel cross (chipped). Fine hand engraved panel with owner’s name and further panel of stylized flower. The engraving strongly suggesting a late 19th century date.
