Civil War era or shortly thereafter. Plated hilt with cross and crown motif. Fluted bone grip as found on military officer’s swords of the period. 27” double edged blade of plain military style. The forte etched B PISQUALE SAN FRANCISCO CAL. That maker was established in 1854 and produced many Civil War swords. Plated scabbard with brass mounts. Probably the earliest Templar sword we have offered.
