CURIOUS MEDIEVAL CHILD’S RING C.800-1200 AD

$105.00

Size ½ for a toddler. 3.4mm ridged band. Circular bezel cut with a matrix of straight lines, possibly obscuring a pentagram and suggesting that this was the ring of a child of a sorcerer. Any child’s ring in this period was very rare as only the elite upper class could afford jewelry for children. For a sorcerer, the ring was much more than jewelry, it was an amulet, and providing one for a child would have supernatural significance.  Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored. Jewelry gift boxed with certification of authenticity.

Item ID: B3557
