First half of the 13th century (Sixth or Seventh Crusade). Type discussed by Nicole, p.58.  Just over 4" length with butted seam conical socket in exceptional preservation and tapered bolster to the sharply barbed broad head point. Professionally conserved excavated condition. Exceptional example from a collection of javelins of the Medieval period.
