Second half of the 13th century. Seventh through the ninth Crusade which was fought largely by French (7th and 8th crusade) and English (9th). 7 1/2" length. Wedge section blade, with crisp maker’s mark to the left side. Exposed edge tang near full length and original butt cap. Excellent excavated condition with fine profile and considerable original surface intact. The wood scale grips professionally restored.
