Gilt bronze of characteristic Medieval style with 3.0mm rounded face band flaring to the shoulders. The raised rectangular bezel has been heavily polished indicating that it originally bore the Christian cross and was captured with the cross obliterated for wear by a Saracen fighter.  Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold overlay restored. Jewelry gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity.
