CRUSADER’S IRON CROSSBOW BOLT, 12TH CENTURY AD

$160.00

Field made, probably from a broken sword. 3 1/8” (3.10”) length. Roughly forged of diamond section with tapered tang. The success of crossbows against Saracen archers likely caused a shortage of bolts resulting in field fabrications such as this one.
