Just under 2 1/4” height with characteristic quaint charm. Highly stylized with central square which could represent then the “crutches” of the Jerusalem Cross with the tips touching. And so, five crosses in one representing the wounds of Christ.  Christianity in Ethiopia is traceable to the first century, the Time of Christ and the persecution of Christians. The New Testament (Acts8:26-36) records Philip the Evangelist’s conversion of an Ethiopian court official in the first century.  Wonderful genuine age character, suspended from a premium polished leather neck cord with Sterling silver closure.
