19th century. Head only, brought back to England as part of the Baptist Missionary Society Collection which was circulated among churches to raise funds for the Missions. It was customary to collect the spear heads only owing to the difficulty of transporting whole spears back to England. 13 3/8” length with opened seam conical socket. Uniform chocolate patina.
