CHINESE JADE ARCHER’S RING, 17TH-18TH CENTURY

$225.00
Variegated jade, rust brown with green inclusions. 1.12” height and 1.32” outer diameter. The ends with corresponding bevels. The stone selected for its rich contrasting grain. Contrary to common misinformation, these did not protect the thumb. They facilitated the Mongolian release, with the string engaged on the back edge and sliding off for a more precise release than the European release.
