9th-12th century. Pre-Mongol and the model from which the classic Mongol point evolved. See Nicolle fig. 744 c-f. Kirghiz culture, descendants of which today occupy central Asia and Afghanistan. Fine large example, 4 1/4" length with flat kite form point presenting a pair of, originally, razor sharp edges angled for penetration and flesh cutting. The thin edges somewhat eroded from burial. Rare.
