Found in Ireland, England (Scotland) and Western Europe. Bronze, about 3/4” height, delicately cast with integral suspension loop. Generally acknowledged as exchange objects (money) these frequently, are encountered with pieces chipped out. This example is completely intact with no loss. If valued as money, it follows that the fragments were used votively as sacrifice. Professionally refurbished with silver surface overlay on a modern Sterling silver neck chain. Gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
