8 7/8” wedge section blade struck with a cursive Burmese maker’s mark at the forte, bright with light tool finish. Fine woven split cane grip wrap with brass ferrules and copper ends, probably made from coins. Two-piece wood scabbard secured with split cane wrap and heavy corded segment near the throat. Brass band terminals. A good functional everyday weapon.
