Algeria or Morocco, c.1900. Double daggers in a single scabbard. Each hilt and the scabbard face with white metal band inlay. The daggers each with 5 ¾” integral wood blades. While part of traditional costume, the blades are finely crafted with pierced scalloped backs indicating that they are meant to be viewed outside the scabbard, possible for ceremonial use. Excellent with fine rich age patina.
