Fine example with intricately decorated hilt, either silver or heavy silver overlay. 7 1/4" d.e blade with high medial ridge each side. Bright, the base with a little "spider rust" which occurs when steel is sealed in a preservative such as varnish and oxidation forms in fine fissured to that surface. As nice an example as we've seen in a long while.
