Clear gold seal of THE BRITISH ANTIQUE DEALERS ASSOCIATION certifying antiquity. Duplex construction with two layers clearly evident at the arm rolls but successfully forge welded with a sharp ring when struck. 16 7/8" along ridge. Provenance: Hengrave Hall, near Bury St. Edmund, Suffolk.
