European or American. 33 3/8” length. Spirally carved wood tapered through its length. The grip with engraved silver cap and pierced for a wrist thong. The bottom bare as made and used. 26 ½” rectangular section blade marked IN SOLINGEN with decorative marks, both sides. Shows its great age with wear to the finish. The blade with a little scattered rusting only.
