9 3/8" length. Flattened horn, the beveled edges beaded at the faces and ridged along the sides. The spout carved as a toothy animal or monster head, worn on a diagonal from extensive use by a right-handed shooter, against the gun muzzle. The extent of wear suggesting a professional hunter, possibly a poacher. Original wood base. Medium age encrustation with expected graining to the horn.
