Slightly under 3/4" (0.71”) width, elegant form and intricate detail. Raised crenulated edge forming a cusp below addorsed loops. High relief raised central heart-a heart within a heart-with trefoil filed, and pelleted surround. The heart stood for bravery, fortitude, loyalty, and integrity, all attributes of the Viking warrior. It is abundantly referenced in Viking literature. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold restored on an 18” gilt Sterling silver neck chain for modern wear. Jewelry gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity.
