18 1/4" ridged back wedge section blade of slightly down curved form with flared base iron ferrule to the lobed form wood hilt. Heavy two piece wood scabbard secured with scalloped edge copper throat and tip mounts. Single copper medial band with several others now missing. Hilt and scabbard show dark patina with minor surface blemishes. Blade bright with a few small islands smooth black staining. Only example of this form we have encountered. Very heavy and well balanced for two hand fighting.
