Yak horn body, shaved to a faceted section with the leage end plugged with a wood base and the small end slotted with a pierced wood plug. Embossed brass bands with suspension rings and matching brass surrounding the slotted open end. Shows great aging typical of Tibetan metal and horn work. Used in the ritual sacrifice and consumption of sacred wine.
