Good quality old example with 11 1/2" curved tip wedge section blade decorated both sides with silver overlay in a lined edge panel with with inscription to the forte each side and figures seated at court, two to the right and three left. Additional scrolling silver fill. Blade gray with some oxidation toward the point. Silver virtually complete with short area of the border at the left lacking. Elegant form hilt and sheath of embossed brass in panels of various foliage. Originally silver (?) plated, now with just remnants. One or two small dents, negligible.
